De-chlorinate the pool water (After Shock is a product that can do this. Follow the directions on the container)

Add 2 gallons of muriatic acid. It is recommended to combine the muriatic acid (1-gallon) with water (5-gallons) in
a bucket outside the pool and then add to the pool water. The object is to lower the pH as low as possible.

Turn the pump on to circulate the water continuously for 48 hours without interruption. |

After 48 hours, add 1qt of Jacks Magic Blue and 2lbs. of iron cobalt treatment. Add 2-gallons of muriatic acid in the
same manner as step #2. |

Circulate the water for 48 hours. Brush the pool daily |

Return pool chemicals to normal levels. Bring chlorine levels up gradually. Do not shock pool for 2 weeks. The pool
may become cloudy. The filter should be cleaned out several times while the pool chemistry returns to normal. |
